seat driver

A few years back I had problems with my XFX nVidia GeForce 7800gt. It was fine day in and day out then all of the sudden one day. it wasnt working right. I found numerous 7800gt cards installed even though the seat driver drivers I had been loading all along said they uninstalled the previous driver versions. I uninstalled all 7800gts in Safe Mode, Device Manager then rebooted. Once I returned to Windows I reinstalled the 7800gt drivers and still had the same problem. I finally contacted XFX about a bad card and they recommended downloading Driver Cleaner and running it before reinstalling the new drivers. Once I ran DC I reinstalled the drivers and everything has been working great seat driver since on that computer. From then on whenever I needed a new nVidia driver I always run DC first. Ive never used any driver cleaner before installing the new driver and never had a problem. In fact, Ive seen more problems with Radeon cards and their drivers, than I have ever seen with Nvidia. cards and their drivers. Im trying to make is, you really dont need a driver cleaner. SuperSparks does and have sansa e250 windows driver had a problem or MANY years. Photolady mentions a long time ago seat driver had lots of problems with Radeon cards.
